Former Local and Regional Councillor for the City of Vaughan from 2010 to 2014, Deb Schulte is a results-oriented individual with an extensive record of community service and proven leadership.

During her time in office, Deb served on several key committees, including Heritage Vaughan and task forces, including the Telecommunications Facility Sitting Protocol Task Force, and was appointed Chair of the Priorities and Key Initiatives Committee in 2014. A local advocate for most of her life, Deb was appointed to the Greenbelt Task Force and served on the Oak Ridges Moraine Foundation Board of Directors – a non-profit organization dedicated to the enhancement and preservation of one of southern Ontario’s most distinct landscapes extending over 160 kilometres.

Deb is a long-time member of the Humber Watershed Alliance. She has a degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Princeton University and 22 years of engineering and business experience with Bombardier Aerospace. Deb currently lives in Vaughan with her husband, Dave, two sons, and a Labrador Retriever.
